Mario Lavigne, Specialist in pasteurization systems who made a career at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

Audience


This training is intended for operators of pasteurization systems or their successors, people who monitor and verify these systems, process engineers, managers of inspection agencies and students in the field.

Prerequiste


Successful completion of “General Principles of the Pasteurization Process” (Web-based course) or having responsibility for calibrating pasteurization systems.

Objective and Training Objective(s)


Develop the workforce in cheese factories and factories that need pasteurization systems.

At the end of the training, the participant will know the different tests applicable to continuous pasteurization systems for dairy products and will be able to determine if the results of these tests meet the established criteria.

Content


  • Tests relating to thermometers;
  • Tests on holding times;
  • Tests on diversion valves (or diversion valve);
  • Tests on pressure differential times;
  • Tests on meter-based timing systems.

This training is completely remote using the Moodle platform.

Required equipement


It is essential to have a high-performance computer and the necessary skills to follow the instructions that will be provided to you, including :
